In addition to our core team we can call on the services of several experienced musicians and singers as required. Here they are:
Sinead
Lead and Backing vocals
An early member of the band and a great voacalist. Started singing at 12 yrs old whilst at school. Love all styles of music from classical music to pop!! But have a real passion for Blues and Soul She has previously sung as a solo singer and also has a love for musical theatre having been involved in shows throughout Northamptonshire. I have a passion for performing and having a good time! By day I am Mummy to the lovely Molly Louise and Alfie.
Susie
Lead and Backing vocals
Susie started performing at the age of 5 and has training in singing, dancing & acting. As a child she performed in 3 professional pantos and with the MHS singers at 2 Royal Variety Club Gala Dinners and appeared on the Good Morning America TV Show.
She started her singing career as a coat-style entertainer at Haven, fronting the in-house shows as lead female vocalist. For over 12 years she has been a professional singer fronting the resident bands at Warner Hotels including Alvaston Hall, Grunton Hall & Thoresby Hall.
She has fronted several function bands and was the band singer onboard the Windsurf cruise ship with Holland America before discovering the Blues Soul Revue – their loss is our gain!
Sue
Sing-tastic
Music has always been a part of Sue’s life from her early beginnings in the Salvation Army. She comes from a musical family, her mum sang and her dad played trombone. For many years she sang with one of the Salvation Army’s top choirs in Sheffield, with performances at the Royal Albert hall and Wembley Conference Centre. She has now been converted to the devil’s music, though for an extra fee she will still perform in her uniform at private funtions.
Sue’s first love is the stage and she has been involved in amateur dramatics for many years. A few years ago she was awarded best actress in the Leicester one act play festival. In fact her acting skills are so polished that when she came to an audition with the band she managed to create the illusion that she knew what she was doing!
